Fibre-Reinforced Concrete

Concrete designed with micro or macro fibres can be used either for structural applications where the fibres can potentially substitute for steel rebar for reinforcement (Structural polymer fibres for concrete) or for reducing shrinkage (Monofilament, virgin polypropylene fibres). Macro fibres can significantly increase the ductility of concrete, making it resistant to crack formation and propagation.
